The Board is like a company and runs on company law TapsC simply because some other board or chairman okayed the loan and is no longer on the board does not absolve the entity that is ZC. The issue is ZC not the individual board members... For example british tobacco in the 90's became responsible for its board of directors from the 60's and 70's etc.
If ZC are found to be incompetent 10 years ago then it is this ZC board that suffer. ZCU can not be found incompetent because as a legal entity it doesn't exist anymore.
It is simply a cop out that "that wasn't me that was the other chairman".
Imagine Toyota selling 10 trillion cars and they find a fault that makes the cars explode- you can't quickly change your chairman or board and now be exempt from blame.

ok so the chronicle article has a title that is misleading, SRC are not behind ZC(mehluhli Sibanda or his editor tch tch tch) They simply state that they will have to listen to both sides before making a decision.
We all know that the SRC is another government run body that has to make its' own money-most of it they take from football games gate takings.
I think the response from SRC was one of not knowing what to do as they take direction from government.
This will be won or lost at government level irrespective of players as everyone knows they are too scared to speak in case they are never picked again.

Again i say it is not about the people fired directly it is about the state of cricket that has been spearheaded by a clueless board and we suffered defeat.

Man.. if the players are scared then we might be in trouble. If BT accepts the captaincy for example and is paraded at a press conference then thats kind of an endorsment of the current board. Something needs to happen within the next 2 weeks before somebody at the ZC offices wakes up and realizes all they have to do is appoint new people ASAP and get the season going again.

The board will have cricket season going in a week maybe 2 at the most! Just heard it'll start on the 18th. April.
Whether players play without pay for long is another question. I think they will not and more egg on zc face.
Either way ZC will never be the same.
