and yes people can give informed opinions without a medical degree,
Key word: opinions. But for facts, we need expertise. Who would you take rather take batting advice from? Andy Flower or Vusi Sibanda?
Advice from a dubious doctor or Google?
Google all day.
Well we do live in what I call a post-fact era. Facts aren’t relevant for most people anymore.

This pandemic might well be a manifestation of the cataclysmic prequel before the end of humanity.

I suppose then, it renders everything a moot point.

But I guess you don’t believe in antibiotics or anesthesia, both which are employed exclusively by “dubious” professionals.

How can you be so sure Dr Jerome Adams or Dr Anthony Fauci to name just two, are dubious?

C’mon bud, you’re getting lamer and lamer. Now you’re suggesting I don’t believe in anesthetics and antibiotics?
And you’re putting forward two eminent people’s names and further suggesting I’ve cast aspersions on these two particular people? You’re in Hhm territory, pull yourself together.

But the “eminent” guys agree with all the “dubious” ones regarding social distancing and the lockdown. So you are admitting the dubious are actually eminent!

Antibiotics have saved countless lives over the decades. That’s directly at odds with nuking China, so you can surely understand my confusion.

I absolutely understand your confusion, I can see you’re struggling and wish to argue for the sake of it, and you continue making more disingenuous statements. I think you’ll find that there are plenty of doctors that don’t agree with impossible to enforce lockdowns in third world countries. They don’t seem to have a voice on MSM, bizarre that! You’ve also sneakily introduced social distancing and implied I don’t agree with it, very slippery of you once again, I’m all for social distancing, before during and after this pandemic!
If a “dubious” quack were to agree with a “good” doctor’s diagnosis that the cause of death of an individual with a spear through his chest was heart stoppage would that make him a good doctor?
Hitler introduced Animal Rights, I respect that, doesn’t make me a Nazi.
Armies will continue to administer penicillin to their wounded and to the POW’s whilst pounding the shit out of each other on the frontlines, I know that’s confusing for you, but try and understand.
Wait for Zimbo to help you, one at a time I don’t even break a sweat.

Firstly, a spear to the chest won’t yield death by heart stoppage. There is no such thing as death by heart stoppage. You’d die by exsanguination (hypovolemic
Shock) which would in turn decreased cerebral
Perfusion resulting in brain death. Heart stoppage is not a cause of death it’s the result of death. Cause and result are polar opposites.

It’s OK even medical students often confuse signs with symptoms.

Again those letters after ones name is critical otherwise you can’t even diagnose something a simple as a spear to one’s chest. We need to leave medicine to physicians.

Secondly, all the doctors worth their letters after their name are arguing for the lockdown. WHO, CDC, NIH etc. fauci is now on the chopping block because he refuses to jump on your bandwagon because it defies medical science.

Thirdly, you say you are for social distancing? Well, lockdowns are a result of social distancing. Try maintaining 6 feet (2meters) distance on the 6 train in NYC or in Mumbai or Shanghai or Hong Kong or London or Paris or Singapore or Dubai. That’s 99% of the global GDP.

If you can social distance and keep the ZIM economy open in Harare, great. Why are you worried what everyone else does?

Google may be pleased to hear that 6 northeastern US states are taking of a phased return to normal from May.

These states account for probably 25-30% of the nations population and 40-50% of the economy. They are also hard liberal states so it’s not the undereducated backward part of the country. Many of the world’s top universities (Harvard, MIT, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, UPenn, etc) are locates in this region.

NY which has been hardest hit is apparently sounding optimistic about a return to normal.

How is a lockdown the result of social distancing? What are you talking about? You’re actually arguing against yourself, do you use a mirror when this happens?

Death by heart stoppage I guess is cardiac arrest and last time I checked I fekkin promise you it will kill you.
I’m guessing you’re more ear nose and throat or STD’s?
If you were an ME and some dude was brought to you with a javelin through his ticker and you wrote death by exsanguination (you’d be dead way before you lost all your blood by the way), leading to cerebral perfusion I think the rest of the medical staff would be having a quiet snicker.

The doctors in WHO are bought and paid for by China and they’ve got a nerve advising anybody about anything. They need to be investigated for their role in the cover up.

I’m worried about what everybody else does here because I worry about my fellow countrymen and what they do directly affects me, why would you ask such a basic question? Please don’t bring up me advocating no lockdown as evidence that I don’t care because it means you have not understood the problems here.
Wait for Zimbo19

There’s one thing that I’ve really enjoyed about Trump and that’s how he’s managed to trigger the lefties, and I’m assuming “hard liberal” falls into that category? I promise it’s nothing to be proud of, a bunch of free-loading twats that have absolutely no idea what makes the world go around. They should split America exactly as you’ve suggested because it’s that irrevocably divided, and that’s where they should build a particularly big wall.
He’s also unmasked some viperous individuals within the Democratic Party during their abortive attempt to get rid of him, it’s been thoroughly entertaining. Here’s to another 4 more years of the Orange moron and without having to worry about winning a third term he can hopefully go after some of these hard liberals. I’m really anxious to see some rednecks in monster trucks actually get the go ahead to run a few people over, or maybe a military coup and he could declare himself President for Life and he could continue draining the swamp.
