The Irish have been in good form the past several months. They just beat Afghanistan in a T20 series.sam_ahm wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 10:09 amSad part here is that youngsters are simply not stepping up. We've only seen Kaia who has shown some potential and he isn't very young either, and Burl who has often shown some promise and he is also like not very young but at least they have some cricket ahead of them.
If I compare that with Ireland, then Tector, Tucker have shown more promise to go with Stirling, Balbirnie, Dockrell who all have fair amount of cricket left in them.
I don't think any opener on the planet would have been comfortable out there for those first ten overs. That was tough. It eased up right after that. Bowling got a bit looser and much less movement. Kaia looks a decent player.
There are two teams in world cricket i follow the most zimbabwe and ireland ..ireland is a team full of grit and determination they never surrender meekly .it's like 11 sikandar Raza in their team always ready for a fight ..strangely their player pool is smaller than zimbabwe's but they have somehow got a decent bunch of 11 playerssam_ahm wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 10:09 amSad part here is that youngsters are simply not stepping up.
