Haha I loved that! They're obviously giving him some sharp. Love it.

Not loving the shot from Kai though. Really average cricket. Time for two prodigious talents to step up now

Going at almost 8 and over. I missed his bowling. Was he all over the place?

Nice to see Ngarava back in the mixer. Looks like he bowled well. If he's fit he has to be in that squad for me, bringing in the left arm pace option is invaluable and something different.
Was all over the place as usual, Evan's bowling is really overrated in this forum... and he's overdue runs with the bat

I'll miss Sean Williams' fire when he retires 😆 Giving some shit to the Pakistani batters for complaining.
"AY! Get on with it and fucking bat. It went over leg stump, fucking idiot" 😄😄

Saw first ball of the day and mavuta bowled absolute ripper to get the batsman stumped . Surely a more attacking option than mazakadza?
I would like both in the squad. Mavuta is more likely to rip through an associate lineup and take something like 6-20 against the USA or whoever.

But Welly much more reliable and consistent. Would probably back him against the better teams to hold an end.

Both good, and different, options

Yes even I was thinking on the same lines if we can drop one fast bowler and play both the spinners

Might play both if we get to India, but in these Harare conditions and considering our all rounders, 1 is enough. I’d play Mavuta against some weaker teams and I’d pick Welly against the other full members.

Wesley plays so many shots in the air that eventually he gets caught on one

He's got a bit of talent, but yes, don't think he's ever played a single shot along the ground in his entire career. He's going to have to adjust his technique, but he's been around for 3 years without any improvement on that aspect of his game.

If we want to touch 315, these two have to stay till 30.

I still don't get why they wouldn't play Ervine and Overlord.
The qualifiers are round the corner and they need time in the middle.

If Madhevere keeps playing like this one has to consider that it's his ceiling. He has absolutely no learning curve.
3 years and he's a lesser batsman than when he was u19.
