I just want is to keep winning and stick the proverbial middle finger at the ICC and say, "Yea, WE'RE BACK!"

If the ICC were a serious organisation then they’d have a proper plan to support/assist the Netherlands and Scotland becoming full members in the next 5 years or so

Holy shit!!!

What a huge upset!

It would be extremely unlikely for WI to qualify now, remembering the last time Afghanistan were able to on 6 points because Zim & Scotland tied a game and both finished on 5 points.

So it’s pretty clear for Zimbabwe now, as long as Sri Lanka beat Scotland tomorrow, Zimbabwe need two wins to qualify ( as long as the Dutch don’t also beat SL 😅).

Massive win for the Netherlands. Honestly can't say I'm surprised. WI downfall has always been on the cards. They've long been sub-par and gotten away with being decent in T20 mostly because one or two players would carry them. They also always would just turn up and expect to win events like this.

If the T20 WC was not an eye opener for them, then this shouldn't have come as a surprise.

On a side note, so glad we have been getting the A Team for the commentary. Moonda and co are not commentators.

I loved that there was a really decent crowd at Takashinga as well. Been some good numbers in at all the other grounds watching the non-Zim matches which is awesome. Must have been some split loyalties in Highfield today, knowing that a WI loss helps us massively, but WI have always been very popular around those parts for what they represented over the years.

A truly awesome match, I figured the Dutch were dead and buried but then Logan van Beek appeared. When he got out on the last ball of the innings I figured Dutch hopes were gone and the West Indies would win in the super over. How wrong I was. A great result for the Netherlands whom I have always liked. I wonder if they are a chance at upsetting Sri Lanka or Scotland. How sad is it to see how far the West Indies have declined though?! Cricket is poorer without the Windies.

Yes the Windies provide a different colour and flair to cricket that none of the other nations offer. The ICC/ BCCI should be doing more to support the WICB, and other nations but as we know they don't seem to care.

Scotland giving the Sri Lankans a real run now.

IF Sri Lanka lose another wicket now they are in real strife.
