The biggest impact that Gumbie has had is that we are no longer losing wickets in the first ten overs. This is giving Williams and Raza a great platform to launch from.
This cannot be understated how big a factor it has been, in my opinion (and obviously most of the forum agrees) it has been the biggest factor to the teams success so far.
Gives us a clear game plan, survive the first ten overs and then look to accelerate. Even when we have been winning games over the last 18 months we have often been

Jongwe for his batting is ridiculous when you have Kaia in the side.
I would have played Marumani and batted him at 7.

Kaia is a top order player

Jongwe is a lower order

As I said previously, I think they picked Jongwe over Marumani

Seemed to be coming. We were getting bogged down. Couldn't rotate the strike.

That one moved quite a bit off the pitch.

Can't say I'm confident in Jongwe for his batting. If this pitch is a slow tough one to bat on, his bowling might come in handy.

I can't remember where I read/heard it, but DH said Larry is our best bowler and it's hard to drop him.

Someone mentioned earlier about Evans not taking his chances, he didn't do much wrong in the last game. Hard to take chances when you keep getting very minimal. Imagine if he got chances the way Wes does

Hmmm we’re in a little bit of bother here

Makes it even more nervy with Jongwe in as the batting all-rounder

Wes needs a score here, on a slightly difficult pitch
