A pie that could have been hit anywhere. A good yorker, thrown together with 4 bad balls an over. He could have easily lost us that. Stupid from Ervine to keep him on.
Look he’s definitely struggling, but he has 7 wickets for the tournament and he’s taking wickets at crucial times.

As I pointed out before, the coaches & leadership group trust him so I doubt he’ll be dropped.

He’s been a great servant for Zim and I think the forum is doing him dirty here. Some of the comments, you would have thought Tari Muzarabani was bowling
Chatara has been good over the years, but what we saw today was a guy totally out of form. We're about to play the two most important games in five years and I just don't think we can carry him.

To bowl wides and utter crap in the final over when the game is over and the pressure is off (and literally the only way Oman could come back into the game was with extras) is inexcusable.

He's definitely been an amazing servant for Zim. At the same time on a helpful wicket I'm still sure of him being one of the better bowlers Zimbabwe have. It's just not worth it to keep on playing him where he's just not cutting it.

Also inexcusable that Ngarava and Muzarabani weren't bowled out while Chatara is bleeding boundaries.

Ugly win in the end. I don't think Larry is finished, though he may be close. He's taking wickets as well as leaking runs.

The extras are terrible and we can't afford them in the next two games.

Disappointing that we couldn't bolster the run rate. We're now just a win away.

Blessing did step up and Jongwe too.

Hats off to Sean Williams for keeping us in the game

The Oman captain presented Ervine with a gift. Classy move.

Oman didn't lose any fans today, I hope they continue to do well in the associate world. I'd like to see them do well in the future.

Anyways, it’s Ervine who chooses to pick him in the side and to bowl him at the crucial times, so you can blame him.

I’d much rather Williams captain the team, or better still Raza. I just don’t understand why they only bowl Wellington 3 overs.

Isn’t he supposed to be the front line spinner?

I called it before the tournament that they’d upset a few, I think it might have been Sam who said they’d come dead last.

They’re a good unit and apart from the Sri Lanka game they’ve done well and been super competitive every game.

Totally agree with that. Chatara was on a hiding to nothing by having to keep bowling.

Who knows how well Jongwe or Wellington would have done? Don't know why they weren't bowled.

Definitely a lot of blame on Craig for continually chucking the ball to Chatara even when it's obvious it isn't his day. Why would anyone give the final over to him when both Ngarava and Muzarabani have overs left?

Also ya Wellington criminally underused, again.

And there were times in the innings when I'd have given Jongwe an over to see if something happened.

I just really don't like his captaincy. Barely any game where it impresses me.

Oman have certainly impressed amongst the also rans in this tournament. To run us that close with 332 on the board and to get to the super sixes has been significant
