Confidence boosting win for the boys. Good stuff.

That’s a 5-0 whitewash off the table at least.

Chivanga getting a 4 for, his is an interesting case, while many of you have spoken about his pace, but at times he has been wayward and leaks runs too... How does he fit into the side? And do the management have faith in him to be a long term option? One option is for him to replace Chatara but Evans and Jongwe are eyeing the same spot as well and they are better bats... Almost bowling all rounders. So Chivanga has to be a far greater threat and far more consistent to get a place in the side.

Mavuta again impressive. I'd say him and Wellington should be rotated in the playing XI, that is if the management feels they are needed. Because with Willo, Raza, Burl and Wes, we are in a situation where a stand alone spinner is probably not needed at all... Again tough decision for the management... But. Mavuta is making a good case for himself in anycase.
Now who’s trolling?

Wellington will always be the primo spinner, his surname dictates so.

Replace Larry?! He’s the cheapest death bowler on the circuit after England’s Chris Jordan.

Tanaka would be in my team, his waywardness is mitigated by his extreme 150kph pace. Like you say though, he is competing with Larry, Bradley and Luke who are all better bats, which like it or not seems to please selectors in this day and age whom don’t trust batters to make the runs. That’s not just ZC, that’s anybody.
Don't get me wrong mate, I was talking in general.

A comprehensive win for Zim E, we can say that the quality of opposition was not the strongest, but they can only beat what is in front of them and this is a very good result.

Shimba and Madande amongst the runs as well, great outing for a lot of players.

How consistent has Madande been though! While people ponder over what could've been I know madande would've stuck around with Burl in that scotland game. It still feels so close yet so far. Alas!

Nah I was winding you up mate, with some sense in my words thrown in too I guess. Everything I post is either sarcastic or trolling and I know it

Madande Mania!

That fixture is in the past now for me. Onwards and upwards in this rocket ship that is Zimbabwe Cricket. Good way to come back from that disappointment by beating Cyril Ramaphosa’s Presidential Select XI under-19s team full of stellar names nobody has heard of.

I’ve been banging this drum for the last 2-3 years but people have been reluctant to get on board with it. I think Madande is absolutely class, across formats. He has a great domestic record and he’s been decent and consistent so far in his international career and again today. He’s going to be huge for us.

He’s only not on peoples radars because he wasn’t in the u19’s (not sure why). But he was in the same SA school side as Wes and he had an excellent record there - with both bat and ball (was a handy offie!)

ZC app

Give it its dues, it is surprisingly comprehensive and lasted far longer than I thought it would have. Leads me to believe ZC have zero input in it whatsoever. Man their Facebook page hasn’t even mentioned this series. Yvonne or whoever should be all over that posting updates and the link to the stream.
