Entertaining finish to the St George’s T20. Peterhouse defeated Hellenic in a super over.

The Hellenic bowler could have won Hellenic the match on the last ball of Peterhouse’s innings with a mankad as Peterhouse were nine wickets down but elected to not take the bails off.

I was there on Friday, bloody awful standard overall unfortunately not helped by the deteriorating pitches and facilities. There was a decent crowd at least and a lot of enthusiasm from the boys, schools and parents. Couple of good performances from the known standout U19 guys but the depth is alarming.

Ya I watched yesterday's end on the youtube stream - great finale. Super Over became a contest of the two best U19 guys with the bat. MacMillan with some great power hitting, Patel couldn't match it. No idea why Schonken saw fit to bowl himself in the super over - surely a leggie in a super over is suicide? Pretty poor, selfish captaincy tbh. The Peterhouse seamer had the right idea.

Schonken did take a fifer to be fair to him.

Ya he’s a really good bowler. Just not the right option for a super over

Anyone know what’s happened at Queens this morning?

According to the scorecard Kadoma ‘forfeited the game’ after half an hour at 30/3 against Amakhosi?!

Great all-round day for Shane Chigumbura....5fer and 115!

Look out for Ryan Kamwemba from Prince Edward in the upcoming u19s.

I watched him hit the most incredible 180* in a school T20 last week (admittedly 'only' against Churchill) and he is now averaging 52.75 in the NPL this season from 5 innings.

Something must have happened when Mavayo got given lbw as they didn't bowl another ball, also says Mavuta was timed out.

Strange as Kadoma were favourites with Mavuta back in the side. Must have been some scenes for it to be abandoned with a forfeit.

Ya it looks like something major must have happened.

If anyone sees or hears anything please share! No response from the two Kadoma blokes I’ve asked :?
