Larry demolished Welch snr's stumps today with one that nipped back.

He's actually had a very solid season Chatara. Responded to his omission by playing every week, putting in a shift and being effective. Fair play to him. When the next test side is selected, he won't be far away.

Nick has had a bad run of form but he's a top player, trust me. White ball is his stronger suit anyway.

Ya that was a jaffer that got Welch Sr.
He's had a terrible run of it.
These balls they use basically create two games. The 15-20 overs where it nips around and then there's virtually nothing for the bowlers.
Then our pitches nip around until midday and then flatten out. Its like clockwork..
Eagles are going to have to bat again and survive 2 days on a shite pitch. A huge innings defeat loading...
How do Eagles go into a 4 day game with one decent seamer? You need at least 2 plus a a seaming all rounder.

The day Blessing or Ngarava get injured, Chatara is going straight back into the team. That’s how bad it is. Only Masuku who just just picked up 5 wickets yesterday has more wickets than him in the Logan Cup. I’m talking about local players. At least with the batsmen we can see potential, there is nothing with the bowlers. 38 year old Mike Chinouya is in 3rd place.

It’s a shame Evans missed the whole season. Would have liked to see how he would have done

Interesting them declaring with Bennett on 264 not out.
I'd have been a mite peeved if I were him. You might, if you're lucky get maybe one more shot in your career at a triple.
