I wonder what Kriterion’s opinion of Domingo is. He was at Bangladesh.

I think he has a good reputation. Tbh it’s a lot better than I wa expecting. I was expecting Chigumbura

Domingo is a good coach, he has coached South Africa too so won't be a surprise if he is interested in Zimbabwe job. Did not have a very successful stint with South Africa or Bangladesh but still a reputed coach.

Grant Flower would have been even better though.

Is Domingo confirmed?

If so, he's a good choice. The problem is, it seems most coaches don't get given full liberty to do what they want. Domingo should be allowed to bring in his coaching staff, not be lumped with people like Matsi. He should then be given the backing to do the things he needs to bring about change and progress.

Not officially confirmed. Only source is Adam Theo and he has been wrong multiple times in the past year.

So let’s see.

Turns out Grant rejected the offer straight-up, wasn’t last minute at all.

I doubt then if Domingo's news is also true. Unless it is announced we can never be sure of anything.

They will have to announce it soon, India series is less than 3 weeks away.

Maybe Zimbabwe will start beating Namibia again now! :D

He is a very impressive human being, and will be a fantastic coach or mentor to other cricketers.

Did wonders for that side over the past 3 years. He probably brought a level professionalism to the setup which they hadn't seen before.

A very very good T20 cricketer and hopefully he'll have inspired a few lads to step up

Fantastic player David Wiese. Namibia will miss him. I can see that JJ Smit and Frylink no longer bowl as much or may be they are injured. In this situation Wiese was crucial to the balance of their side.
