Curran not moving his feet, Williams also.
Ball is swinging late and it's not easy.
Fairly sure rain will save the day.

How did that miss??
Swinging one way then the other. Some spell of bowling by Azmat absolutely top drawer.

Azmat swinging it in circles. Clearly our batters are not used to the ball moving this much. Zero foot movement.

Ervine generally plays swing well. So does Williams, that was a terrible shot from him.
None of our batters are moving their feet!! Step shorter for sure if it's swinging late but your head has to go towards the ball.
Ghazanfar's karom ball is damned good as well.

I will give Curran benefit of doubt probably nervous.

The way he played shows there is a big jump from Domestic Cricket to International Cricket. He was being done inside out on the 4th & 5th stump. Did not look anywhere near an opening batter. Didnt know where his off-stump is. Will only judge him after 10 innings.

Pressure is a thing i tell u. That's the worst I've seen Ben play all year. Didn't look too bad, but as soon as I saw him going hard and not moving it was a matter of time. Not the dream start he wanted. Not seen him play a shot like that all season.
Myers looked shit today, also hung his bat out a couple of times. He looks a bit awkward, pushes his hips back a tiny bit and pulls his head offline.
Williams' shot was a brain fade.
That way of Bennett's where he gives himself a bit of room on leg, doesn't move his feet either, has worked well for him, but he'll have to have the best hand eye for that to stand up against late swing.

That'll be $50 bucks! Cheaper than 15k

Maru walking into quite a few of his shots of late. You make it tougher than it is if you're on the move and your head is not still.

Uber tough conditions.

Can't see us having a game here. This weather is in and out.

Weather ain't disappearing methinks. Marumani's wicket was exceptional, can't get over how beautiful the swing was.

Curran and Sean got out to similar balls, a couple of brain fades. Bennett is unbelievably still at the crease, barely moves his feet at all.

He does it well and it's difficult to bowl at. Mixes it up with other good shots. The away swing will be problematic with his technique, but he can figure that out. What he's doing so far is half working, he's just not kicking on, but he doesn't look out of place.

Big congratulations to Ben, by the way. Proud moment for him and his family.
