Time for Whatmore to go? He clearly isn't having any positive effect on the team.

Zim Bowlers have been excellent in defending two Low totals in the last two matches and also bowling afghan out for 130 in first match. It is the MIDDLE ORDER BATSMEN WHO HAVENT COME TO THE PARTY- Chigumbura/Waller add no value to the team time to go fellahs

Waller is 31 there is no more time, I think he is just not good enough, doesnt seem to have the confidence.

I went to bed with target almost unreachable for the Afghans, dreaming of an MoM and MoS for Hamilton for his fitting comeback from the drop that should never have been, and we have screwed things up royally!

Chigumbura's batting lost us the momentum big time and eventually lost us the game. That must be the turning point of the match. We could have put it beyond their chase with a better phase in that period. I only have expletives, so not writing anything further

Should have tried Waller up the order again. Bats far too low down the order, gets one chance in the 4th Odi and is back down the order coming in with 3 overs to go. Pointless. Should have got one more opportunity batting at 4.

Where we lost?

At the end of 30th over, Zim were 153/2 with HM and Richie batting. We lost the match in next 10 overs. See how:

Zim scored mere 24 runs in between 30-40 overs despite having two set batsmen.. From 30-35, only 14 runs were scored by HM and Richie in five overs. In 36th Mutambami got out and Chiggs joined. Chiggs and HM further derailed the RR by scoring a meager 10 runs in next five overs. Good for Zim that Chiggs got out in 40th over. In these 10 overs with one set batsman we managed just 24 runs. Raza joined in 40th over and with HM they scored 39 in next five and in total Zim scored 68 runs in last ten. Our tail managed 68 runs in the last 10 but Chiumbura, Mutambami and HM scored just 24 runs between 30-40 overs.

Further analysis:
In these 10 overs, HM scored 13 (22) so the culprits were Mutambami who scored 6 runs off 18 balls and Chigumbura who scored 3 runs off 19 balls. The bowlers in this period were mainly Nabi and Khan, a couple by Hamza and single over by Zadran.
