[Match Thread] 1st Test, Zimbabwe vs West Indies
Re: [Match Thread] 1st Test, Zimbabwe vs West Indies
I don’t like sweeping. It’s got to be missing or you have to catch it on the half volley or it’s just a matter of time unless you’re Flower. BT is a great exponent, but that was a shit shot selection, plus too early in his innings. I haven’t seen the side play for a while, they look a good competitive unit, but some amateur dismissals, we should be in a dominant position and instead we’re under the pump. You need lots of stamina to be a supporter.

That scorecard is a disgrace. We always complain about not getting a good platform upfront, but after such a good platform laid by the openers, we have well and truly thrown it away. Shameful.

From here I'll take 200 all out any day. Poor poor shot selection.

Well it's all down to this partnership now. Can we get a classic gritty Cremer contribution, with Chakabva cementing his spot in the team for the next 12 months at the other end?

Bishoo hasn't even bowled that well. Cremer and Williams looked heaps better.
