A terrible loss at the end of day..
Zim should make changes to thins line up as soon as possible..
Drop Chibabha, Matskinyeri and Mutizwa
Bring back taibu, Coventry and Williams.
Its nice to see Chingumbura batting up the order..He truely deserves it..
And Taylor finally came for the party..
But Zim should be happy with the bowling performance in this tournament. In all the matches, bowling department was pretty deccent despite absence of Utseya.HOpe he get well before SA series

Williams is out injured for awhile I think. I am sure he would be in the side if he were fit.

I quite like the look of Chibhabha when he's opening the batting. Can really get hold of the fast bowlers. But Coventry is a no-nobaiju029 wrote:A terrible loss at the end of day..

Yea i like Chibhabha opening, and he adds another bowling option. Hopefully Williams regains fitness and he can slot in for Coventry. Hes been very disappointing. And Sibanda should bat 3 or 4 i thinkConant wrote:I quite like the look of Chibhabha when he's opening the batting. Can really get hold of the fast bowlers. Taibu and Williams both are injured. I reckon, they both will make the XI as they both are one of the finest batsmen of Zimbabwe in recent time.baiju029 wrote:A terrible loss at the end of day..

I would offer Charles Coventry some more chances in the ODI against South Africa. There's no question about his potential but it's a matter of bad form.
Mark Vermeulen needs some time to settle down. He has a gap of about 5 years in international cricket. Missed some domestic cricket too due to injury. And just recovered from injury before appearing in the 4th ODI. I guess, his technique will be improved to a great extent if he plays more and more cricket mostly in franchise cricket.
Stuart Matsikenyeri can anchor the innings coming at no 6, we came to the point before. But I think he will make the squad for his off spinning contribution in the bowling attack.
Forster Mutizwa hasn't done well with the bat at all. Just threw away his wicket, irresponsible batting...Can be dropped but he has an excellent domestic stats.
I don't like Justice Chibhabha's bowling. He is mostly a part-timer. He shouldn't open the bowling. The pace attack should be opened with two front line seamers or the team will suffer. The options are available for Zimbabwe likes of Mpofu (did well vs Ban), Rainsford (was economical), Mupariwa (returned to form), Jarvis (A bit expensive but good pace in 130-140). I agree, Chibhabha should concentrate more on his batting and his batting position must be 2/3.
From the possible candidates who can make their way in the Zimbabwean batting lineup are as follows:
1. Vusimuzi Sibanda
2. Dion Ebrahim
3. Craig Ervine
4. Timycen Maruma (as an allrounder)

What an awesome batting display by Naeem. Cool like cucumber. He never thought of loosing at any point of the game as he said after the match. Great nerve. He is well known for his big hitting capacity in the domestic arena. Team mates used to call him 'Sixer Naeem'.
It's Naeem once again! Tigers roars back!
