Zimbabwe is not showing fight. I don't see emotions or a desire to win. When we play Ireland I usually hate their players and they provoke strong emotions in me, but that is simply not the case with Zimbabwe. They body language is so dull.

I've always got that vibe from the ZIM team as well. Almost like they are just in it for the money ie its just a job. I'm guessing only the white guys have been playing cricket since childhood and the others just picked it up much later in their youth.

How many black guys played today tho? It's 50/50...

Well some of the white guys are either not that good (Waller) or not ready yet (Burl) to make a big impact.

But point is well taken, even the Cremers, Taylors, and Jarvises seem rather nonchalant. Idk, maybe its just because ZIM have been losing to Afghanistan and Ireland for so long it seems that way.

To be honest that 8-3 was not so bad in ODIs.. it prevented many collapses. I would take Williams back right now. I have actually realized over the last 2 months he was underappreciated. That's the definition of a team player. Not PJ

To be fair, this is the first time in a long while our bowling let us down - across formats. They have been doing well since the time they went on that Scotland tour last year. And we have constantly bolstered our bowling unit along the way too. It is the batting that also came to the party in the Sri Lankan series, but has been on and off otherwise. Now we have hit another low with the batting - similar to that India series when Ntini had just taken over.

Solution is simple. batsmen come to the party regularly, we will start winning more often that not. That's like stating the obvious, but we need to recognize that the bowling unit has been admirable consistently for a while now.

Does anyone else feel that the return of Taylor and Jarvis for big cash has disturbed the atmosphere of the dressing room?

Just my observation..I maybe wrong

Been saying this for so long now.

We just keep doing the same thing expecting different results. It may come across as conceited, but I'm sure we could do a better job coaching this team. So many basic and simple errors, continuously happening.

Taylor and Jarvis should not upset the dressing room. If it does, then it just shows that certain individuals are only in it for themselves.

Taps you’ve made some interesting points there.
It’s hard to refute what you’re saying, not that I am looking to, I largely agree.
If we fail to qualify not only are Taibu and Streak in trouble but so is Zim cricket.
Taibu has hedged his future with the RS initiative though, not that he set out to do that.
