This is a problem for us. Hong Kong etc won't trouble West Indies or Ireland. In fact WI and Ire will smash them for NRR.

We need Afg to make it through.
A few days ago we would have said the same thing about this match. It really doesn't make any sense to get too far ahead of oneself in this tournament. We're in for more drama, yet.

Yes. PNG making a good fist of it against West Indies. (did they rest Gayle? that's pretty arrogant)

Ultimately I want our destiny to be in our own hands. The equation is simple then = win every game, and qualify.

Even Scotland now with a slight wobble against Nepal 87/4. Get Coetzer out and Nepal is back in it.

Maybe the real worry here is that Scotland got past them, Hong Kong are going to cream them... Zimbabwe barely limped over the line against them. Maybe it shows that Zimbabwe is in strife.

I think the Zim Afghanistan thing is a mental block we have. Every game is different.

What about the Dutch guys? Are they not in serious trouble here? Looks like that might be the end of their tournament. The UAE have improved recently. That whitewash on our A team might not have been that bad after all

We should all be backing Afghanistan here. A loss for them will take us back to square one. They need to qualify

This one could go down to the wire. It really is a knock-out match for both teams.

Afgh on 134/6....Hong Kong could well definitively put them out of the competition!
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).
