[Match Thread] West Indies v Zimbabwe (Only T20I)
Re: [Match Thread] West Indies v Zimbabwe (Only T20I)
I wish the boys all the. Watching the Windies play in Australia they kind of lacked that killer instinct from my point of view. If Zimbabwe Focuses on playing the game I think we can produce a result. Twenty 20 is very unpredictable anything can happen.

Well, if we can beat Australia with a weaker team than the one on tour now, we should be able to beat the West Indies. In theory. Just have to avoid the good ol' Zimbabwe Collapse...
Re: [Match Thread] West Indies v Zimbabwe (Only T20I)
The big question of this series is not about how well Zimbabwe play but how well the West Indies will play. The fact is that if Chris Gayle fires at the top of the order (Luckily he is not playing tomorrow)we will loose, but if we can find away to get him early then we have a real chance of causing an upset.
Im not to worried about the West Indies bowling attack but the series will be won and lost in the battle between our pace bowlers and Gayle, it could be murder or sweet success.
Im hoping on the latter

i think the best way to gets these batsman out is by realy targeting them, i think jarvis should not be afraid to bend his back a little, in saying that he also should have some control in his line. I am pretty confident we can produce a good resualt here. If the fieldings good and bowlers stick to a good line then we should have a definate win.

We might view T20 as a batsmen game .But whemn the bowlers really get into it they can really destroy any side . I predict a five for by Ray Price .......mark my words

I am putting my money on the trio of Covy, Tibbly and Pricey. We are always good in denting reputations in inaugral fixture. Be it the first ODI win over mighty aussies in '83, the first test honours against india in '92, or the tailor-made win in the T20 again against aussies at WC.
With no Gayle, today i am hoping for laurels in this opening fixtures between two sides. Its pretty sad that we are actually playing a T20 after 2008. Phew
