We've done this with an awful bowling attack too. Imagine if we had any of Jarvis, Chatara or Williams bowling today?
It's basically been the Raza show with a bit of economical support from Tiripano.
Who knows. It might have been a blessing in disguise!

Let's hope Regis' fumble doesn't cost us much.

One more ... where's the usual singing?

Mutumbodzi on for some pies.

Make that 100 runs and a fantastic chance at winning the game. If you don’t have a world class glove man it will cost you dearly.
Murray is just down the road....

Alright let's bat them out of the game, ideally till Lunch or Tea tomorrow.

Till lunch?

That ain’t batting them out of the game. That’s half a day and 200 runs at best.

Tea at minimum. We get into a lead of 400 we shouldn’t lose. “Shouldn’t”.

113 run lead, that's still really great. I'm astonished that we bowled them out so cheaply with this attack, take a bow Sikandar Raza.

So what do we need in the third innings?

If we scrape our way to 100, that sets up an interesting little 4th innings chase albeit not a really troubling one.
If we scrape our way to 200, then sets up a challenging 4th innings chase but still not one I'd be really comfortable winning with.

275 is our magic number I think. I think we'd defend 390 odd - I don't think we'd repeat the mistakes of 2017.

One big problem though - Williams isn't batting?
Does anyone know the rule? Given he didn't field does that mean he'd be batting at 11?

Burl is tweeting support from his recovery bed hoping it will get him a sick pass onto the Bang Bus
Arise my son, take thine cricket bat and strike down upon the ball with great vengeance and furious anger, in the immortal words of Samuel L Jackson.
