One thing I think is strange; the report highlights Streak's misconduct during Zimbabwean international matches, 2018 Tri-Series, APL, BPL, PSL and IPL.

But then absolutely no mention of the 2018 WCQs? Are we supposed to think Streak was doing all of this in literally every single tournament he was involved in, but when the WCQ came around he was suddenly an angel and nothing happened at all? That sounds very odd.

To be honest, he got off lightly. Giving the players' numbers to bookie is high level stuff for someone in a care taker role/position of authority over such players.

I wonder if the 4 players can sure streak for breach of duty? What are your thoughts SecretZimbo?
In relation to cricket anti-corruption, I don't think anyone has attempted to bring a case like that against anyone in the past? Either way, none of the Zim players have been tainted by this or exposed to this or suffered negatively from this so there'd be no case for any of the Zim players anyway.

Sounds like Streak may have been the one to set up the Shakib Al Hasan stuff. So if any player has a grievance it would be him. I doubt there's much he can do about it though.

Zim government has just put out a statement saying they are investigation Streak for breaking national corruption laws.

They can include Makoni, Bvute, Utseya, Campbell, Mukhulani, Chingoka and oh yea, the entire zanu pf party while they're at it. I hope to god Heath Streak isn't used as some kind of scapegoat

Shakib lost a lot in that year financially as he had to miss an ipl. Perhaps he could bring something against streak in Bangladesh if thats where streak committed the offence and it was shakib although shakib doesn't totally have clean hands himself as he didn't report it, but he didn't do much wrong Shakib relatively

Woah I just saw shakib has a net worth of 36 million us dollars

Streak offering a bit of information isn't all that bad really, but facilitating approaches to players is. You only facilitate approaches to players if you are willing to actually go down the path of spot-fixing or match-fixing.

Heath has given a lot of ammunition to the ZC bunch now. He has always been the anti-ZC figurehead and now he is nothing more than a corrupt cheat. The only solace from this is the apparent lack of match-fixing. If it had come to light that the UAE game was fixed by the coach or players I would have called it quits on my time as a Zimbabwean cricket fan.

Thats it now. His legacy in the eyes of ZC has been tarnished and he'll go down as nothing more than a cheat. Obviously the loyal fans will think otherwise but still, it doesn't look great.

David Colatart has weighed in too and said how sad he is about the whole situation.

Had a little chat with a certain ex player from within the ZC structure.

His old man is a close friend of Steaks and met with him today, and had a long chat.

Said he's clean and when this all comes to light we'll know the truth. Interesting
