Some old faces still in the game
Ohh this is the waste of opportunity. Instead giving some young stars competetive players match practise and feel, they selected chibabha, maruma, mutumbami, chitara etc.
Myer, burl, Evans and chupungu are only positives in the squad.

I'm glad tanaka chivanga is in both squads. Could well be the surprise package for Zimbabwe against Bangladesh

Also how the hell does Faraz Akram keep getting picked? One of the most average cricketers in the country. I honestly don't know how he keeps getting chances.
Close to Matsi from Rising Stars days may be?

Shumba, myer, wesly, tarisi, marmuni & Brian should be on both squad. One young fast bowler macheka has some gas, he would have given a go too. Jr. Campbell would hve been spinning option.
Please don't waste A tours on maruma, chibabha, mutumbami and chatara. If you want some experience, give a go to player like ervine a go to groom young players. Such a waste of opportunity.

Chatara is not a bad selection bcz he want some practice to regain his fitness after the injury period. Chatara still zimbabwe's prime bowler

Chari, Chibhabha and Maruma can fuck right off. Ugh. Yuck.

I read a interview of taibu he really praising akram about his bowl swinging ability. And also he said he is one of the best for new bowl bowler

He has lost the spark. He was not looking threatening at all. Can work his way out in t 20 with variations.

Because he's not in the country. And he's not a professional cricketer and he has no intention of becoming one.

Then why was he playing first class cricket. Shows that cricket in Zim is more like club cricket at times. Imagine someone playing FC cricket in aus who had no intention being a pro cricketer.

He lives in Australia, plays a decent level of club (grade?) cricket over there but has a full time career outside cricket. I understand he got stuck in Zim during the Oz travel restrictions and was finding it difficult to get back for a while.
