Saw somewhere that Kaia has 4 ducks in 6 innings. That's really bad

It is a bit hard to compete in test cricket when your middle order has two guys picking up two ducks. Maruma and Kaia should never be anywhere near the test side again.

I hope its just someone stirring bullshit but all the rumours in Zim tonight are that Chibhabha is in the ODI squad lol. If he's captain as well then I really really do give up.

If it's a bloated squad of 20 I expect he will be. He isn't worthy of a place in the final eleven though.

Hope we see marumani myers and madhevere in the squad along with the returning Williams and ervine.

Any updates on burl and raza?
I expect Raza should be back up and running by now (or at least very close). He was retained by his CPL side and the tournament starts on August 25th.

if looking at him through a batsman lens, he would be infuriaratingly inconsistent.

Actually you are right! I think if DT is selected to bat, he might put himself under performance pressure and fail. Right now he bats with nothing to lose and that actually works in his favor. Maybe a season and a few games in the A team as a batsmen, then we can see if he can slot in the lower middle order. At 33 he has 2 or 3 years to reintroduce himself as a batting all rounder.
