3rd ODI | Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe | ODI Super League

Post by Kriterion_BD »

Just a few hours away. No dead rubbers anymore with points at stake. BD will not want to end their streak especially on the festive occasion of Eid al Adha, which begins tomorrow, commemorating Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son, Ishmael.

Should be a cracking contest with 10 points still up for grabs.

I hope Zimbabwe will persist with Marumani, this kid apparently has the talent and dropping him will jolt his confidence in performing in the future. Give the kid two series at least to fire. Meanwhile, Kamunhukamwe should never be near that team, he is just terrible, he is worse than Chibhabha. It is excruciating to watch him bat.

Replace Kamunhukamwe with Shumba. We'll get a better batsman and an additional bowling option.

That's an ideal lineup ..but this is ZC ..expect someone like Myers to be dropped to accomodate maruma or Welingtan mazakadA

My XI:

1 Brendan Taylor (C)
2 Sikander Raza
3 Tadiwanashe Marumani (When fit Craig Ervine will replace him)
4 Milton Shumba (When fit Sean Williams will replace him & will captain)
5 Wesley Madhevere
6 Dion Myers
7 Regis Chakabva (WK)
8 Luke Jongwe
9 Tendai Chatara
10 Blessing Muzarabani
11 Richard Ngarava

I will follow this batting order.

9 batters in Zimbabwe squad if you include tiripano.

K long is dropped. Burl in. Will he open?

OK with Burl coming back but why is Ngarava replaced with Tiripano? It should have been Chatara. Ngarava was doing fine.

Yeah, dropping Ngarava doesn't make sense unless he is injured. Chatara and Raza needed a few pactice matches before jumping into the team, they were both woefully out of form on Sunday

Regis opening is a good pick, the other specialist openers have failed. I hope zim batsmen esp Talor show restraint and bat more eresponsibly today with non of the recklessness we witnessed on Sunday
