That seam attack was world class. And much older. We've done really well to get 200 and last 43 overs. Probably the best bowling any of our guys have ever faced.

Ohh well we did get to 200 and we saved our faces with that performance. Now to see what the Afghans will do when they play.

Next game isn't until Saturday. Hopefully the guys can relax and recharge for a day or two and then work hard in the nets.

The Afghanistan game could be winnable after all, depending on how old/experienced the are as well I suppose.

It sounds stupid after being beaten by 100 runs but this should have been a close game. Our front 4 are good enuf and may learn something finally from this, that must have stung like buggery, I hope so.
There's always time in these games. You have to bat sensibly and take it deep. My instructions would have been- you haven't faced this pace, don't take on the short ball and leave well. If you look behind you and the keeper is on the circle and there's 2 slips, gully and backward point the guy is bowling very fast and it's probably moving away from you. Leave it if it's not in your slot.
I'm gutted for Bennet. I'm bloody steaming.

Don't want to forget the bowling;

Falao looks really good. Such a great great action and rhythm - I think he's special.

Chirwa didn't deserve those figures. He bowled pretty well again, unfortunately came up against an international class 30 year old who was well set.

These two are really good. The rets of our bowlers have all shown themselves to be decent enough in patches too. 300+ is a lot to concede but we didn't bowl all too bad. Mataranyika was bowling a bit short and Dube lost his radar when he came back on. But there's no weak link in the bowling.

First twenty overs were great.

Nothing short of pathetic how a lot of these Pakistan lads are clearly older than 19. Makes my blood boil

Criminal that Bennet missed out on his ton. It would have been incredible. But hopefully this spurs him on to go big again.

As boring as it is for our resident medical practitioner to hear about age group cheats, two Pakistani age group sides were recently disqualified from a couple of tournaments for fielding grossly over age players.
