That was actually Curran's first hundred in 78 matches.
22 50's though. That's a big monkey off his back.
Bizarre how he hasn't had one before.
Zimbabweans in the UK/Europe Club Cricket (2022)
Re: Zimbabweans in the UK/Europe Club Cricket (2022)
I'm following the post match euphoria of this English series win. English fans and pundits always so quick to blow their team's trumpet. Humility is not high on their list. We've seen quite a few false dawns before. Great wins and a wonderful series, but not sure you can play like that against every team and most definitely not on every pitch. That was like a well matched boxing match where the styles made for a great fight.
India test starts Friday, 4 day break. We take a year's rest between ours. People actually die of old age in-between.

I told you guys that India will be a different challenge altogether. In hindsight it has to be said that NZL's bowling couldn't cope up with the attacking style and it is shocking to see how miserably they failed and leaked runs at a very high RR because they've got experienced and quality bowlers and they are not alien to English conditions as conditions inNZL are similar.
India has the best test bowling attack in the world right now, RSA series and last year's WTC final was mainly due to batting failures.

Yeah India is crazy good from number 5 down. They just need to fix up their batting. Ironic that just when they get their bowling together, the top and middle order falls apartsam_ahm wrote: ↑Sun Jul 03, 2022 6:43 amI told you guys that India will be a different challenge altogether. Alex Lees is seriously showing some balls up front.
Zack Crawley is world class when he gets going. He just needs to convert now

world class? Really? Even his career average at county level is only 30.
25 tests and averaging 26. That’s terrible. Bad even for Zimbabwean standards!
