I actually stopped watching in dismay as I support them, then got a call to get to a TV as they'd fought back and it was down to the last over. Bloody gutted

I always felt Namibia were overrated. They depend too heavily on David Wiese. Pretty much every game its Wiese doing all the damage. Definitely cannot be losing a knockout match to the weakest side in the tournament and enhance your reputation.

No mate, Erasmas has been their best player for some time now and Frylink, Smits have won them many games. Even the first game which they won against SL, it was Frylink and Smits who did the damage. Last year in the WC against Scotland it was Trumpellman who ran through the Scots.Kriterion_BD wrote: ↑Thu Oct 20, 2022 9:27 pmI always felt Namibia were overrated. Yea Namibia have some serious depth in batting and firepower too.
They're a side on the up and I wouldn't be surprised if more Namibian born South African FC players make the jump across the border. They are getting so much exposure in these tournaments. We need to invite them over for more game time because they're a very talented side. Zane Green and Picky Ya France are lucky to be there I think

How do you rate Da La Cock and Van Linglen? I was very impressed with Da La Cock when I saw him in that series against Zimbabwe, but he seems to have fallen off after that.
