Experimenting with Marumani is something they can do in CWCQ Warm Ups, or arrange some other Warm Up games in which you do that.
Couldn't agree less with the first part,

The time for experiments will have long passed once the warm-up games come, in fact the official squad will have already be named so you would hope that we have come to the conclusion of what the best side, or structure is by then.

Arranging for further games/ series prior to the warm-ups is a great idea and the perfect time to be experimenting, looks like the Pakistan A side will be coming soon, a great chance to try out some different things, also there's still that mooted series v Namibia, which might be in jeopardy now they have to go through the qualifying to even get to the CWCQ.

I don't have an issue with them trying different things in this series with the players selected, these are the best 15 cricketers in the country so which ever way they go, they're still going to put out a strong team.

How the hell did Bennett overtake everyone to be in the national team? 😂
Interesting that so many of you think Bennett isn't ready for the next step. I have compared his stats with Wes from the u19 world cups as top age players. Wes averaged 30.80 from 10 innings and Bennett averaged 44.77 from 10 innings. There is no reason why Bennett must be kept waiting for much longer. Wes debuted as a 19 year old , was there any objection when he got a go back in 2020.

2 down for 18 runs
Why Sean W was bench might backfire with Wes in poor form
