I was saying after the last game the kind of value Williams brings to the side and he showed exactly that today with the bat.

I'll be very keen to have Evans playing against Pakistan Shaheens and bowl his full quotas. Just to see how to utilize him at the qualifiers. Currently they are playing him only to bowl 5 overs.

Madande is looking very very promising. Regis only scored 4 half centuries and 1 century in over 60 games. This is a great start.

I'm going to say Williams is up there with Neil Johnson and Taylor as arguably out most talented multi format batter. He makes it look easy
Natural ability, he's probably our best ever in terms of what God gifted him, and I'm not exaggerating. He doesn't train, he rarely nets, he doesn't play domestic or even warm-ups. But when he wants to play he turns up and scores runs like it's the easiest thing in the world! He was born to play cricket.

No Venom and little accuracy from Chatara these days.
Ngarava needs to come back for the decider methinks.

In my mind this is a defeat. Netherlands has good bowlers but more concerning is the lack of bite from our bowlers. Nyacgi and Evans to open the bowling with ngarava to play as third seamer. If the dutch with possibly the worst international batting line up I have seen can make 270 that does not bode well for the qualifiers. Serious alarm bell.

Seam position matters in odis. Getting close to the stumps matters.

Madhevere looked good today with both bat and ball. i liked that he went wide of the crease and was bowling fast with a lot of his deleveries

5 overs 0/12 Evans
9 overs 0/63 Chatara
This is the problem with a captain unable to read the game , it's really is astonishing

Seems like a hell of a game. Netherlands must be totally devastated at coming so close yet so far from a series win.
