Congrats Zim boys :D . I checked the score on my mobile and screamed Yesssssssss! Good to see Mpofu doing well, he's been getting his act together with the Tuskers since the roasting he got in SA. I love a fighter although I must say Dabengwa is a lost fight.
[rant] He's a steady performer but I don't see how he'll replace anyone. Question: what is the point of this tour? Answer: to prepare for the world cup. So why leave Masakadza Sr and Cremer if they're in the first eleven? They did the same with Masakadza in SA recently, so is there a fitness issue we're not aware of? In SA Chibhabha played for his place, which is what it should be, but he hasn't replaced Masakadza so what's going on? Has Masakadza - a certainty in any important match - been asked to sit this one out for Dabengwa? If so, Dabengwa isn't playing for his place, he's just being given a cameo - a waste because we should be using this tour to sort out the substantive batting order, our spin strategy and hopefully the seam attack. [rant/]
Great win boys. Now let's make it 2-0 :W:

At the end of the day, a wins a win, but i'm really pissed with the team selection.
Why this retard Dabengwa is still in the side is beyond my comprehension. He can't f*** bowl, he can't f*** bat and he's now 30 years old ! I'm beginning to side with what ZIMDOGGY said a couple of months ago, has he got influential relatives..?

Zimdoggy is on to something here. My conspiracy theory is that Matsikenyeri originally had some incriminating photos of top ZC officials which was why he kept getting slected for no reason. But with the help of Innocent ' I didn't do it' Chinyoka, Keith Dabengwa stole the photos off Matsikenyeri and he now possesses them (leaving Matsi with no leverage over the selectors). This would explain Dabengwa's sudden reintroduction to the side, and also Matsi's disappearance from even the 'A' squads.

great win boys ! a wins a win but there needs to be some improvements for the next match and i think the batting should change a bit due to the Bdeshies using spin early. I dont think i even need to say anything but why is dabengwa in the team its a waste he cant bat or bowl ! everyone seems to be fuming that masakadza isnt opening the batting .... personally i like justice at the top he plays pace very well and is very quick between the wickets. special mentions to mpofu (has so much talent),chakabva in only his second game who faught it out , Ervine , price, utesya and meth at the death . GREAT WORK BOYS just now dont let the hard work slip because we can win this series and prove that idiot who recons we are scared and under pressure, now whos the ones under pressure mate. :D

notice how it was METH who took the catch to get rid of shakib and it was also meth who did the bowling on the last run out.

this was meths win today. the rest were just playing supportive roles.

Good observation zimdoggy. Zimbabwe shall be renamed Team Meth. Even Mugabe will be bowing down to the greatness of Meth. Meth will rise to a place in Zimbabwean folklore that I thought was reserved solely for Angus Mackay.

On another note, you should research my conspiracy theory mentioned above. I think I am on to something.

First of all many many congrats to Zimbabwe for the win.

Unbelievable selection of the XI. Can't understand why Hamilton Masakadza and Graeme Cremer weren't in the side ! But Zimbabwe always has the 'most valuable player' Keith Dabengwa in the team who made vital 8 runs and bowled 5 crucial overs giving 32 runs :!:

Looks like Elton Chigumbura tried himself higher up the order but it failed. But I said at no 3 not no 4 ;)

Tatenda Taibu did throw away his wicket. Would like to see more responsible knock from him.

Regis Chakabva played well so did Craig Ervine. Hats off to them.

Christopher Mpofu, excellent bowling. Don't forget the LEGEND, Raymond Price 10-1-29-2 picked up the important wicket of Imrul Kayes who could have been dangerous if he carried on.

For Bangladesh, I would say it would have been a much intelligent selection if they picked Shahriar Nafees in place of Zunaed Siddique in the squad...

So i see the captain is quite proving to be a liability these days . He has been horrendous with the bowl and now he cant bat . On what basis should the selectors justify the inclusion of Chigumbura besides juss being the captain .
