As a fact if Gumbie keeps then Madande is taking up space.
You could bat Kaia, Madhevere, Kamunhukamwe or Welch Sr at 7, they are much better batsmen than Madande.
Then there's Bennett who also offers a bowling option and there's Welch Jr who's also probably better and undoubtedly has a higher ceiling and could keep if there was an injury.

But of course ZC will have a blind spot and persevere with him forever as a specialist no 7 and reserve keeper when there are far more accomplished batters.

I left out Shumba. Shumba is a better bat than Madande all day every day.

I rate Madande but he did look horrendous against Vandersay today. Looked like he had never played cricket before for a while!

I try to never talk bad about any of our players coz they're there doing their best more often than not, but if you play Madande as a pure batsman ahead of Kaia or Welch you're just stupid, never mind the others I just mentioned.
I've never been that impressed with Clive. He's OK and has room to get better for sure, but in a shit team put the best players you've got on the park. They've spent years developing Wes and wes he? They're going to do the same with Clive and in the meantime we're going to give up slim chances of winning.

TK is batting in the wrong spot. If you're going to play him in the national side he needs to come in when the ball is older and slightly easier.

Clive has always looked exceptionally good in domestic red ball at least. I will never get over that Tsiga pick instead of him in our last Test series. Wtf was that?!?!
