You sound a siren here and people get off the road and/or run away.

A fine win in the last session and a great position to end Day 1!

Could not have had a better day. Our 2 best batsmen still in and set. We are far more experienced than them in this format. Only one of their guys has played over 40 FC games. Gumbie, Kaitano, Mavuta, Ervine, Curran and Williams have played over 40 FC games for us. I think it makes a difference, especially when things are not going your way

Weather is going to mess up a much needed good game for us. I reckon we need to see if we can get Willo to his double and/or Craig to his century and consider declaring. The forecast is bad. Having said that it stayed away today.

A great day for Zimbabwe with many highlights. I was particularly happy to see Craig Ervine get some runs after a rather lean patch, perhaps he still does have some gas in the tank. Afghanistan looked very poor but full credit to Zimbabwe for taking advantage.

Dunno if u guys saw that new tech of Bumrah's bowling?
19kph run up, his wrist bone was 78kph just prior to delivery and the delivery was 135kph, meaning his wrist action imparted 57kph.

But not sure whether you subtract the 19kph from that?

What a day for Zimbabwe Test cricket...when was the last time Zimbabwe scored 300+ on Day 1 with wickets in hand at the close?

I think you'd probably have to go back to the 2018 draw vs West Indies maybe and before that the 2013 game vs Bangladesh. So long ago, that you've don't even thnk this scorecard is real, lol.

Ben Curran looked class down the ground. Seriously good player in this format.

Williams does what Williams does. Every time he puts on a zimbabwe shirt we need to jut appreciate how lucky we have been to have him

No better chance for Williams to get a double here. He won’t have many chances beyond this series.

Good day for Zimbabwe. Let's hope they can build on this tomorrow.

I won't declare unless they get above 500. It's always a bit tricky in the second innings

Congratulations to Sean Williams on a wonderful hundred.
