Williams is tough as nails
Really big effort here
I love Williams but his body is made of glass
so many injuries over the years
Ja. But it shows how tough he is mentally. Lesser men would have retired. I hope he plays until he's 45!

So do I. He just needs to look after his body better. Especially on the road to the 2027 WC

He's going to need something extra special and 3 grams of marching dust to bat the second innings. He's going to lock up after this.

Williams not allowed a runner ?
For unknown reasons, the ICC got rid of runners a few years ago. Laws of cricket remain unchanged, but ICC competition rules don't allow them.
That's an easy one
To stop that fat tub of lard Ranatunga calling for a runner every single game he played in after he'd gotten off the mark
Came in about 15 years after Ranatunga retired!

The seamers always think they've got license to play some shots, it's annoying. Ervine has to retain strike as well. Every run is vital here.
I watched Patterson in Proteas hitting out when Corbin Bosch was on 85 and going out, I'd have been mighty pissed if I were him.

I didn't understand why he did that. It was so so thick. It didn't look good at all and as you said, if I was Bosh I'd have kept my distance for a while.
