And by the way when SABC tried screening a football match for Bafana Bafana in Zim two weeks ago they were less diplomatic: “The bad picture quality you are currently experiencing is a result of bad cameras from Zimbabwe."

....but to be fair can't blame Tait for Rhinos prefering to give Muzhange a debut over Chinouya....FlowerPower wrote:Not that Im a fan of this instant gratification stuff called T20...and I see the value of having the big stars and I would assume aside the IPL,CL ,Aus big bash and a few I have missed this is a decent world class comp. But Im a bit concerned Kasuza could be keeping for the goats and learning. Chinouya could be bowling for the Rhinos...but Mustard and Tait are prefered (logically so) ahead of our own...Im not sure where I lean on this one. Your take guys?

I suspect it could be electricity as well. No spead gun, No inverters/generators - c'mon Zim. It's not like you need to keep the floodlights on - cameras, sound and laptops! SABC were crazy. They used a lame excuse. Supersport use their equipment all the time and can produce top quality without having to link into ZBC's infrastructure! A lot of the Saffers were actually upset with SABC, yet SS can broadcast a whole day of cricket between Zim&NZ.
Chinouya bowled well in the last T20 edition, don't know why Muzhange was preferred ahead of him! The Mountaineers inings will answer that one. Waller couldn't survive 4 balls from Old man Harris! If Nannes comes in for one over he might do further damage! Mushangwe's effectiveness is probably more to with the standard of the batters than it has to do with the quality of his bowling. So I agree, we should let our locals fail if that's the best the overseas players can do.

that's extremely harsh considering the batting line-up. It T20 cricket I know and maybe these bats are not best suited to that format but T20 is a batsman's game and they should be able to step up to whatever mediocre bowling it seems you're suggesting Mushangwe's delivering. Come on, he's got Taylor for onehhm wrote:Mushangwe's effectiveness is probably more to with the standard of the batters than it has to do with the quality of his bowling. .

I understand Flower, but this is a stadium. Hallo?? Prior arrangements should be made. Anyway we're assuming this is the problem.

.
SABC is terrible hhm, but I wouldn't have put it past ZBC to have refused permission SABC to be the main broadcaster for that match. #sovereignty#
This boy was one of the more impressive bowlers in last year's T20s, hhm. In fact I first saw him in the first T20 tourney that was televised two years ago.hhm wrote:! And yes, what did I say about the Mountaineers. I expect they will now cruise through this one with minimum fussConant wrote:I have a really good feeling about the Mountaneers. Mustard, H. Masakadza, Kasuza, Shingi Masakadza, Chatara, Nannes, Mushangwe.

ZC should not be giving excuses about electricity . you can always negotiate with ZESA so that they wont switch off a particular area if they is a special event happening there .
Maybe the ZESA guys in Harare are a whole lot different form those in Manicaland . And you don't have to pay anyone coz its a public event .
