I always thought we'd struggle in the limited overs games.

In these matches Zimbabwe has not only had to struggle with maintaining a decent run rate, but working out how to face the WI bowlers. At least in the Test matches we'll only have to worry about the latter...

The luxury of being able to leave balls, that alone should make Zimbabwe twice as good in the Test matches. How many wickets have fallen after a ball has been skied or some unnecessary shot been played? Hopefully in the Tests, the WI bowlers will have to work a bit harder for their wickets.

Bravo, who holds a simple catch. It was the slower one, and he was into the shot way too early. He lapped the ball almost straight up, and Bravo was under it.
The story of west indies, Zim are being out foxed by the slower delivery.

What an insipid display. No Fight no firepower no venom

Get chigs back and somebody else who can score at over a run an over otherwise we are condemned to score 120 tops every match

So Zimbabwe are still favourites, but it does make the task a little bit harder admittedly.

No chance !!

He was virtually walking.
No way! Not even Usain Bolt could have made it back in time.

Usain would have made it back and still have time to run another.

A few posatives to take away, and some negatives as per.

Positives:
Chitara bowled bang on 90mph today! aihjsaoihsxoiusahjbcxAsxkopKAsl;mzxpoasxmsaoijxmsjc'lmsx'poam !!!!!!!!! when was the last time we saw that from a Zimbabwe fast bowler (apart from Jarvis) Shame he couldn't maintain his speeds but it's no secret that he has the potential to bowl express!

Excellent again from bobby, keep it up lad!!

Another very good display from the two young leg spinners. Two for the future no doubt, but not quite as good as Cremer yet...

And some excellent fielding. I think Zimfan1 mentioned it was the best performance in the field for 3 years, i'll second that!

Thanks sloandog for the positives & negatives. Didn't expect us to do that well against West Indies in the T20's, so haven't really followed them. Looking forward to the Tests now! :D

Great to see Mpofu bowling a lot better, and our two young spinners doing well again. Even greater news with Chatara hitting good speeds.

I think a lot of us are getting sick of Hhm. So if we all make enough noise towards the admins, we might be able to silence him for a while. ;)

Hami made his 50, but it is hard to weigh the innings. We were never in the chase. He stopped us getting out in double figures, I guess. He managed more time in the middle prior to the tests, which is good. Mpofu was able to put the ball where he wanted it which was a great relief after the disaster of the first ODI.

My main positive from the match was that fielding standards seem to have improved from the nadir of last year.

Shit batting, dire approach to the innings, and no fire power.

A spot of Chiggs and Chappie anyone ?

......and in other news, Hhm continues to vent his racist views, his hatred of humanity, his crusade against Waller, Streak and now Meth, and now insults fellow members of the forum.
coventry n chigumbura were the missing link in the team they can match any 1 in the world in terms of six hitting ability . they perfomed well bpl the selectors should consider them on future tours
