Re: Is the team too sensitive to criticism
That facebook page has done well in keeping people interested in Zimbabwe cricket, there was a time when they listened to ZC and but the have taken the gloves off now. At first it seemed some of them were employed at ZC when it first started. The official page is Zimcricket Backstage. If the players complained then they have no business representing Zimbabwe at that level. They are soo lucky Zimbabwe and the media in Zim are not really interested in cricket. This kind of attitude shows exactly why we do not win. ZC message to the players was go and compete in west Indies. Come On! Thats how high the bar is for them.eugene wrote:I always figured this group was officially aligned to ZC, so this development is rather interesting. Perhaps they aren't aligned at all?hhm wrote:Depends, can you guys post examples of some of the things you read?
The comments are probably the live match updates where things like Vusi and Brendan throwing away their wickets and poor fielding are commented on. From what I have seen nothing worse has been written than what has been posted on this forum over the years.
Some of them do but I think its not really wise unless you have a tough skin! I think they did at first but I doubt many do now. If I was a player I dont think I would either. cos fans are fickle!!!herb wrote:i wonder if any of the players visit this forum. Just trying to imagine a jarvis or waller reading some of the comments on them from this forum

the players should know when they play bad, they know when they have done well.
