makes me sick to the stomach ... I had a conversation with a WI who had watched the greats and he said that WI cannot tolerate organised mediocrity (having far higher expectations) --- I feel exactly the opposite!
And another one! Brendan Taylors joy and luck seems to be radiating from the hospital!
I don't want to sound like hhm, but the absence of KJ and BV has drastically reduced the number of four-balls and wides this morning. Disciplined bowling so far.
true FF ... and it's important when you're bowling to average bats (I know Khan is above average but he can't have been expecting to bat this soon) ... this pair is V important for PK as both can really do the long form of cricket

I see our old friend is still banging an old drum. Albeit one with a very slack, loose drumskin...
Here's an apt response
John Ward: "Timmy Maruma has lost form with the ball and has virtually given it away for batting, so he can no longer be termed an all-rounder, even for his franchise, Mountaineers. So he is considered for batting alone, and I don't think he is quite up to it yet."

I am going to pursue ff's thinking and venture to assume that this must be BY FAR the best bowling returns after the first 17 overs since returning to test cricket ?? RR, extras, wkts
I would feel even better if we had a wicket-taking spinner in the side. (note: so far my attempts at reverse jinxing have been succesful this morning ... I was merely thinking about posting something along the lines of 'Tinashe does not have the pace or movement to trouble international batsmen', and bang! )
