From all reports same XI expected .....

Kind of harsh and non-productive not to give people an extended run. The only guys I'd even think of dropping are Chari and Hamilton. But Chari deserves a decent shot, which 4 Tests on the trot vs NZ and SL will make. Reassess after this series (he'd need a pair of fifties or a century to warrant persisting with).

Waller deserves an extended run because his FC record warrants it. Tiripano is averaging more than most of the top order so don't drop him. If need be, give Tiripano the all rounder's slot and pick another seamer (Chatara or Panyangara or Shingi).

Musakanda should ideally look to take Hamilton's spot, if #3 is too much pressure for a rookie, then slot the order this way:

Chari/Chibabha
Raza
Ervine
Williams
Musakanda
Moor
Waller/Tiripano/Shingi
Cremer
Chatara/Panyangara
Mumba

I know the conventional wisdom is to make the most of the first hour on HSC, but I don't think we've got the firepower for it.

If it was a Jarvis/Vitori/Chatara combo then sure, but Mpofu/Tiripano no way.
