Kind of harsh and non-productive not to give people an extended run. The only guys I'd even think of dropping are Chari and Hamilton. But Chari deserves a decent shot, which 4 Tests on the trot vs NZ and SL will make. Reassess after this series (he'd need a pair of fifties or a century to warrant persisting with).

Waller deserves an extended run because his FC record warrants it. Tiripano is averaging more than most of the top order so don't drop him. If need be, give Tiripano the all rounder's slot and pick another seamer (Chatara or Panyangara or Shingi).

Musakanda should ideally look to take Hamilton's spot, if #3 is too much pressure for a rookie, then slot the order this way:

Mawoyo
Chari/Chibabha
Raza
Ervine
Williams
Musakanda
Moor
Waller/Tiripano/Shingi
Cremer
Chatara/Panyangara
Mumba

By the end of two overs, looks like Mumba and Waller both injured! We could be in for a massively painful test match here...

Can anyone hook a brotha up with a link?
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

Totally unthreatening rubbish.

2 guys injured already.

Going to be a long game.

Time for Graeme Cremer to have a bowl.

Is that a hook up to the first aid room :?:

Definitely a lot of pain, I hope these aren't pre-match injuries

I know the conventional wisdom is to make the most of the first hour on HSC, but I don't think we've got the firepower for it.

If it was a Jarvis/Vitori/Chatara combo then sure, but Mpofu/Tiripano no way.

I see on cricinfo that Mumba is in the nets with a physio testing his knee, not the sort of injury that goes well with a long and lively spell of bowling .......

Two maidens in a row...better, but hardly threatening bowling.
